Lafarge North America – New Dust Collector and Distribution System

Lakehead Constructors and its subcontractors completed demolition of the existing dust collection and cement distribution system at the Lafarge NA cement terminal in Superior, WI. Following the demolition work, a new structural steel platform was constructed, new dust collector placed, and an upgraded cement distribution system was installed.

The project was constructed between January and March 2008 while the terminal was shut down. Construction was completed about one week ahead of schedule and without injury.
