Scope of Work: General Contractor for a new water treatment facility on the shores of Lake Superior, self-performing concrete, rebar, above-ground piping, carpentry, painting, crane support and heavy rigging. Also entrusted with upgrading the city’s wastewater treatment facility, which discharges an average 1.2 million gallons of water each day. Working in all weather, including sub-zero conditions, installing new raw water pumps, grit removal, separation equipment, new aeration basins, final clarifiers, and pumps, new biosolids treatment facility, chlorine feed rooms, new operations building with chemical feed, SCADA systems, locker room, lab, and breakroom.
