Duluth International Airport

Shown here is Lakehead providing crane support for the installation of the jetways at the new international airport in Duluth, MN. LCI supported by the hoisting and welding of the 52,000 lb jetways for Thyssen Krupp airport systems out of Fort Worth, TX. LCI used one of its new Grove RT880E cranes, along with certified riggers and welders to accomplish the job. In addition, LCI’s heavy haul experience was utilized to move the jetways from their assembly location to the permanent locations at the airport terminal.
